What we do
As the UK's voice of foster care we work with our members to share knowledge and best practice, promote fostering and campaign for positive changes in foster care at the highest level.
We are a membership organisation and work with and for over 55,000 foster carers throughout the UK, as well as fostering service members and local foster care associations.
Our publications
Our publications aim to provide everyone involved in fostering with the information they need. Both informed and informative, they are accessible, reliable and high quality. From our flagship pre-approval training course The Skills to Foster to our handy Signposts in Fostering information leaflets, our resources are designed to help you provide the best possible care for children and young people.
Our publications are stored and distributed by PARTRIDGE & PRINT LTD, who will take your order, process payment and despatch your items.
How to order our publications
You can order any of our items simply and easily from this website, alternatively you can order by POST, TELEPHONE, FAX or EMAIL.
The Fostering Network order form, or your own order form, can be used to buy products. Please quote the stock number that appears after each entry. This will ensure your order is processed quickly and smoothly.
Where two prices are shown, the lower price applies to members, the higher price to non-members. Please note the number of items you want to order and calculate the TOTAL by multiplying the number of items by the price.

How to Pay
Members of the Fostering Network
Local authorities: You will be invoiced on delivery of goods. Orders must be accompanied by an order number.
Other agencies: For orders over £30, you can be invoiced on delivery of goods or you can pay with your order. Orders under £30 require payment with order.
Individuals: Payment must be sent with your order. Please enclose a cheque or quote your Visa/Mastercard/Switch number on the order form.
Non-members
Payment must be sent with order. Please enclose a cheque or quote your Visa/Mastercard/Switch number on the order form.

Bulk-buy discounts
To help your budget go further, we offer generous discounts when you buy 10 or more of any one title, unless enhanced promotional discounts apply:

Postage and Delivery
For customers in the UK we charge a flat rate of 20% of the total purchase price, with a minimum charge of £1.50 and a maximum charge of £15.00 for consignments up to 30KG in weight. Delivery charges for Website orders are calculated by weight.
For urgent orders, a 24hour express service is available
For outside the UK and overseas orders, all orders must be paid in STERLING, VAT will be charged on orders from European Union Countries unless your VAT number is quoted on the order form
